Call for Artists
Our Humanity Bernalillo is a collaborative project led by South Valley MainStreet, United South Broadway Corp., Casa del Rey Ministries, and outreach partners Agri-Cultura Network, and Ancestral Lands Project Conservation Core focused on improving health literacy regarding COVID-19 in communities of color and urban Native/Indigenous communities in Bernalillo County/City of Albuquerque. We believe that everyone deserves basic health education regarding COVID-19, access to basic COVID-19 resources including vaccinations, and to know their rights when it comes to protecting their health and the health of their family, because the health and vitality of our community is at stake.
Artists who have work that emulate the following themes are encouraged to submit their work. Selected artists will receive a licensing fee of $500 in exchange for reproduction of the artwork in print, web, and social media. Artists whose work is included in the campaign will also be featured as Cultural Ambassadors for the Our Humanity project and featured prominently on the website and in our social media platforms.
